Saint-Antoine, NB- It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jeannette Girouard, 92, on Sunday, September 6th, 2026, at Albert House Hospice SENB in Moncton, NB.
Born in Saint-Antoine, NB, she was the daughter of the late Donat Babineau and the late Sarah (LeBlanc) Babineau.
She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Paul Girouard; her son, Jacques Girouard (Carol) of Montreal, QC; her daughters: Nicole Girouard (Gaston) and Diane Girouard (Marco) both from Montreal QC; her brothers: Ernest Babineau (Barbara) of Saint-Antoine and Gérald Babineau (Lucille) of Terrebonne, QC; her sisters: Louise Christopher (late Joe) and Mai Cormier both of Saint-Antoine; her grandchildren: Nicholas, Alexandre, Philipe, Emile and Elizabeth; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Jeannette was predeceased by her brothers: Yvon, Donald, Alphonse and Aurèle; as well as her sisters: Lina, Aline and Rita.
Donations in Jeannette memory can be made to Hospice SENB (Albert House)
Visitations will be held at Passage~ Maillet (29 l’Église Street, Bouctouche) on Saturday, September 26th, 2026, from 9am until 11am, followed by the funeral service in the chapel at 11am.
