Bouctouche, NB- It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jeannette Richard, at the age of 90, on Monday, September 21st, 2026, at the Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste in Bouctouche, NB. She passed peacefully, surrounded by family and love from near and far.
Born in Sainte-Anne, NB, she was the wife of the late Lionel Richard (2006) and the daughter of the late Alphée Bernard and the late Emerise Richard (née Savoie).
She will be sadly missed by her daughters: Jacqueline Bourdelais (James) of Hudson Mass, Noëlla DuBois (William) of Berlin Mass and Joanne Whittemore (Glen) of Worcester Mass and her son Micheal Richard (Gina) of Blackstone Mass she also leaves her sisters: Normande Allain (Alcide) of Bouctouche and Rose-May Richard (late Dolphé) of Waltham Mass; her grandchildren: Ashley, Rachel, Joseph, Jason, Jessica, Richard, Emily, Allison, Justin, Nicola and Renee; and 8 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents, Jeannette was predeceased by her sisters: Edith, Isola, Yolande and Lucina also her brothers:Normand and Joseph.
Donations in Jeannette memory can be made to the Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste activity Fund in lieu of flowers.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste for the care given to Jeannette.
Visitations will be held at Sainte-Anne Roman Catholic Church in Sainte-Anne de Kent on September 29 from 1pm
to 2h45pm followed by a funeral mass at 3pm.

I’m so sorry for the loss of your Mom (my Aunt & godmother). She will be forever in my heart! I have so many fond memories of Matante and all our family gatherings. We spend a lot of time together while we were growing up. I will cherish those memories forever!
