It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeannine Gallant (nee Léger), 73, on Monday, September 23rd, 2024, at her residence.
Born in Saint-Charles-de-Kent, she was the daughter of the late Sydney and the late Zelia Léger (Richard).
Jeannine will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 51 years, Joe Gallant; her siblings: Delphin (late Elizabeth) Léger of Dieppe, Ronald (Marie-Mai) Léger of Moncton, Rosaline Léger, and Thérèse (Allain) LeBlanc both of Dieppe; her aunt, Sr. Rosanna Richard of Bathurst; as well as several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitations will be held at Passage-Chartersville (363 Amirault Street, Dieppe) on Thursday, October 3rd, 2024, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm until 9:00pm, and again on Friday, October 4th, 2024, from 9:00am until 10:30am. A funeral service will be held at the Saint-Anselme RC Church in Dieppe on Friday, October 4th, 2024, at 11:00am.
Donations in memory of Jeannine can be made to the Foodbank.

You all opened your heart and home to Joe and I last week. It not only gave us a chance to spend some time together but we also had a great visit with Jeannine. I write to you here with our deepest condolence to you all. Please hold onto all those great memories and they will help you thru this sadness and days to come.
