1932 - 2025

Cap-Pelé, NB – It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of Jeannine LeBlanc, 92, of Castel des Flots Bleus, Cap-Pelé, on Monday, March 31^st, 2025, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton, NB.

Born in Cap-Pelé, NB, she was the daughter of the late Paturel and the late Claudia (LeBlanc) Cormier.

Prior to her retirement, she had worked at Cape Bald Packers and Westmorland Fisheries.

She is survived by her daughters: Mona Lavoie (Bob) and Lise LeBlanc (Vincent Richard), both of Cap-Pelé and Brigitte LeBlanc of Shediac; by her son, Daniel LeBlanc of Cocagne; by her grandchildren: Justin, Melanie, Vanessa and Shawn; by her great grandchildren: Anabelle, Chloey and Max; by her brother, Francis Cormier (late Dora) of Port Elgin, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Henri LeBlanc (2023); by her son, Eric LeBlanc (2019) and by her sister, Geraldine.

Visitation will be held from Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila Parish Slumber Room, Cap-Pelé, NB, on Monday, April 7^th, 2025, from 9 am to 10:15 am, followed by the funeral mass in the church at 10:30 am.

In memory of Jeannine, a donation may be made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation.
