Riverview – Jennifer Anne Lesperance, 43, passed away peacefully at her home in Riverview, NB on February 22, 2012 surrounded by family and friends.
Born in Halifax, NS, she was the daughter of Herman and Avis Gerrior (née Bona).
Jennifer was an employee at APSEA (Atlantic Provinces Special Education Association) teaching the visually impaired and a member of the NSTU (Nova Scotia Teachers Union) for over 14 years. She received the Senate Award of Distinction when completing her Med/Psychology in 2001.
She is survived by her loving husband, Chris Lesperance; daughter, Grace Morgan Dennis; parents, Herman and Avis Gerrior; sister, Angie (Samuel) Bachmann, Cole Harbour; nieces, Sydney and Chloe Bachmann, Cole Harbour; grandmother, Loretta Bona (née Fougere) Halifax; several aunts, uncles and cousins in both the Bona and Gerrior families.
She was predeceased by her great-grandmother, Elizabeth Meunier; grandparents, Patrick (Paul) Bona, John Sylvester Gerrior, Mary Beatrice Gerrior (née Fougere); Aunt Marie Nugent (née Gerrior); cousins, Paul and Shelly Thornton, Douglas Oakley and Lisa Gerrior.
She was a loving wife, mother and teacher and will be forever missed by family and friends.
Visitations will be held at Passage, 625 Mountain Rd, Moncton on Sunday, February 26, 2012 from 2:00-4:00pm and from 7:00-9:00pm. A celebration of Jennifer’s life will be held at The Journey Church, Allison Campus, 1539 Salisbury Road, Moncton on Monday, February 27, 2012 at 1:00pm with Pastor David Morehouse officiating.
