Shediac Bridge, NB – Jerry H. Babineau, 73, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 1, 2022 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton.
Born in Shediac, NB, he was the son of the late Henri and Sophie Babineau (Leger).
Jerry was previously working at Moncton Hospital as a paramedic/ EMT and then went on to work as a truck driver for Protrans/Midland Transport.
Jerry will be sadly missed by his loving wife: Anne-Marie Babineau (Poirier); his daughter: Aline Lavoie (Daniel) of Saint-Paul; his sisters: Rita Boucher (late Raymond) of Saint-Antoine and Claudette Richard (Éloi) of Shediac Cape; his step grandson: Maxime; also by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers: Jean-François (infant) and Edgar Babineau.
Visitation will be held at Passage, 3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge, NB (506-532-1050), on Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 9am to 12pm and from 1pm until time of funeral chapel at 3pm. Burial will follow at La Visitation RC Cemetery in Grande-Digue.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Chu Dumont Foundation (Oncology) or to “Pépére Boîte à Lunch” in Grande-Digue.
