1934 ~ 2022

Moncton, NB – Joanne LeBlanc, 88, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 3, 2022, at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton.

Born in Saint-John and raised in Moncton by the late Albénie and the late Elise

LeBlanc (Cormier).

Joanne worked at Marvin’s for over 27 years. She was once a co-ordinator for the Moncton Minor Baseball Association. Joanne was also a member on the “Club d’Âge d’Or” for the Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix Parish. She enjoyed playing darts, shuffleboard, bowling, cards, bingo and was an avid fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and would watch them play on TV.

Joanne will be sadly missed by her children: Lina LeBlanc of Moncton, Roméo LeBlanc of Caledonia Mountain and Denise McGrath (Calvin Martini) of Moncton; her grandchildren: Abbygail, Emily, Sarah and Luc; her sister: Jean Buckley (late Jim) of Saint-John; also by several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband: Abbée; her siblings: Germaine Cormier (late Gérard), Eugénie LeBlanc, Yvon (late Colombe), Bennie (late Yvonne), Alfred (late Armanse), Ulysse (late Anna), Jérémie (late Germaine).


Visitation will be held at Passage – Chartersville, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (506-857-1901), on Friday, October 7, 2022 from 2pm to 4pm and from 6pm to 8pm and on Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 9am until time of funeral service at Passage Chapel at 11am.

In Joanne’s memory, a donation can be made to the Moncton Hospice (Albert House).
