In Loving Memory Of
Jocelyne “Jo-Ann” Boudreau
April 1, 2017

Ottawa, ON – Jocelyne Boudreau, 62, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2017 at the Montfort Hospital. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and the late Catherine (Bourque) Boudreau.

She is survived by five sisters, Annette Richard (Emile), Olivette Arseneault (Denis), Alphonsine Babineau (Roger), Claire Fournier (Philippe), and Emilie Cormier (Denis); three brothers Pierre Boudreau (Rose), Evérard Boudreau (Diane) and Jean-Paul; and brother-in- law Gaetan Babineau (Yvette) and sister-in-law Norma Taylor-Boudreau. She was predeceased by a sister Rose-Marie Babineau (Gaetan).

Jocelyne graduated from LJR High School in Shediac and worked in Moncton and Ottawa as a secretary for several years in federal government departments including Parliament Hill. Her career was interrupted early due to the burden of schizophrenia. She was intelligent, friendly and generous and pursued lifelong interests in reading and spirituality. She lived with courage, grace and faith despite many years in difficulties and unfulfilled dreams.

Kelly Funeral Home – Somerset Chapel arranged the cremation in Ottawa. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph RC Church in Shediac on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 10:30 am.

Donations to the Maison de Nazareth or the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated.
