Joe Mills, 76, of Moncton, NB, passed away on Sunday, January 23rd, 2011 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB.
Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Olivier and the late Annie (née: LeBlanc) Mills.
Mr. Mills had retired from Eastern Bakeries. He was a member of the Parkton Knights of Columbus, the Club d’Age d’Or, the Legion and a member of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce parish.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Noella (née: Belliveau); one daughter, Shirley (Sylvio) Roy of Moncton; one son, Maurice (Itimad Damdoumi) of Gatineau, QC; one sister, Victorine (John) Richard of Moncton; two brothers: Gerard (Lorraine) of Memramcook and Ronald (Bonnie) of Ontario; two sisters-in-law: Emma and Doris, both of Moncton; one daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Babin of Dieppe; three grandchildren: Julie (Marc), Chantal (Tony) and Michel; two great grandchildren: Stephanie and Dominic as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by four sisters: Donalda, Phyllis, Stella and Lorraine and also by two brothers: Cail and Paul.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Thursday from 2 to 4 (Cancelled) and 7 to 9 pm (Cancelled).
No visitation on Friday.
Funeral mass will be held from the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Roman Catholic Church, Moncton, NB on Friday, January 28th, 2011 at 11am.
Interment in La Visitation Parish Cemetery, Grande-Digue, NB
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital Foundation “Oncology” would be appreciated by the family.

M. Mills avait travaillé pour Eastern Bakeries. Il était membre des Chevaliers de Colomb de Parkton, la Legion, le Club d’Age D’Or et de la paroisse Notre-Dame de-Grâce.
Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse de plus de 55 ans, Noella (née: Belliveau); une fille, Shirley (Sylvio) Roy de Moncton; un fils, Maurice (Itimad Damdoumi) de Gatineau, QC; une soeur, Victorine (John) Richard de Moncton; deux frères: Gerard (Lorraine) de Memramcook et Ronald (Bonnie) de l’Ontario; deux belles-soeurs: Emma et Doris, toutes deux de Moncton; une bru, Jacqueline Babin de Dieppe; trois petits-enfants: Julie (Marc), Chantal (Tony) et Michel; deux arrière petits-enfants: Stephanie et Dominic ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nieces.
Quatre soeurs: Donalda, Phyllis, Stella et Lorraine ainsi que deux frères: Cail et Paul l’ont précédé dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, N.-B., (857-1901) le jeudi de 14h à 16h (Annulé) et de 19h à 21h (Annulé).
Aucune visite le vendredi.
Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, Moncton, N.-B., le vendredi 28 janvier, 2011 à 11h.
L’inhumation au cimetière paroissial La Visitation, Grande-Digue, N.-B.
