It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Bernatchez, 77, on Thursday, August 22nd, 2024, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton.
Born in Dalhousie, he was the son of the late Marcel and the late Ethel Bernatchez (Lagacy).
John will be sadly missed by his life partner, Julia Hebert; his siblings: Gary Bernatchez (Collette), Brian Bernatchez (Denise) both of Campbellton, Philip Bernatchez (Valery), Danny Bernatchez (Yvette) both of Moncton, Ethel Bernatchez of Quebec, Sandra Bernatchez, Patricia Bernatchez both of Moncton, and Barbara Bernatchez of Campbellton; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Alex Bernatchez.
In respect to the family’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service.
