John C Collette, 103, of Bouctouche Sud, passed away peacefully at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital, on Saturday September 17, 2022.He was married to the late Délia (Boucher) Collette his second marriage and the late Bella (Bastarache) Collette, his first marriage. Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, he was the son of the late Calixte and the late Marie-Gertrude ( Meunier) Collette.
He will be sadly missed by his brother-in-law, Gérald Mills with whom he resided and several nieces and nephews.
John was predeceased by his sisters; Suzanne, Irène, Philomène and Dorilla and brothers; Hector, Albert, Lévi and Edgar.
Visitations will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche, on Thursday September 22, 2022 from 2 to 3:45pm, followed by the Funeral Mass in the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche at 4:00pm. Interment will be in the Notre-Dame du Mont- Carmel Cemetery, Sainte-Marie-de Kent.
