John Edward “Jack” Seeley, 80, of Moncton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at the Drew Nursing Home, Sackville, NB.
Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Ned and the late Kathreen Lees (née: Hamilton) Seeley.
Mr. Seeley had worked as an electrician with local businesses.
He is survived by his wife , Rose (née: Barrieau) of Moncton; five children: Jackie (Darryl) of Halifax, John of Lakeville, Heather of Moncton, Susan (Rob Richardson) of Lakeside and Brenda of Moncton; one step-son, Mike Shaw of Ontario; two sisters: Helen Cormie of Lakeville and Williah (Layton) Wasson of Moncton; one brother: Dick (Myrna) of Lakeville; 6 grandchildren: Crystal, James, Geoffrey, Terri Lynn, Julian and Megan Goguen; one great granddaughter, Makayla as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one sister, Shirley and also by one brother, Fred.
Visitation will be held from Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901 on Sunday, February 25th, 2007 from 2 to 4 pm.
Funeral service will be celebrated from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday, February 26th, 2007 at 2 pm.
The family wishes to thank Brenda for taking care of Dad for the last twelve years and to the Staff of Drew Nursing Home for the excellent care given to him during his stay.
Thanks Dad for teaching us to live, laugh and love.
