John Fred Burnett

Steeves Mountain, NB – John Fred Burnett, 77, passed away peacefully at Dr. George-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, on Sunday, June 24, 2018, after a lengthy illness.

Born in Charlottetown, PEI, he was the son of the late Fred Maurice Burnett and the late Irene (Duggan) Cove.

John will be missed by his wife, Florine (Hachey); his son, Glenn Vennor (Debbie) of Peterborough, ON; his three daughters, Regina, Debbie and Sherry all of Ontario; his sister, Myrtle Meunier (late Clem) of Moncton; his brother, Angus Burnett (Jean) of ON; also by several grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Winston.

As per John’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Princess Margaret Hospital (Mesothelioma Program), Toronto, ON, or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
