In Loving Memory Of
John Paul Reader
1964 ~ 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Paul Reader, 60, on Friday, November 8th, 2024, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton.

Born in Oshawa, ON, he was the son of Jacqueline Sandra Reader (Porter) and the late John Reader.

John Paul will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Alice; his surviving mother, Jacqueline; his step-daughters: Melissa Tilley of Meadow Brook and Danielle Tilley (Luke) of Moncton; his half-brother, Chris (Sarah) Reader; his half-sister,  Ashley Reader (Cory); his step-grandchildren: Angelica, Vera Lynn, and Ruby; his beloved dog and longtime companion, SuzieQ; as well as his nieces: Jessica and Courtney; one great-niece; as well as five nephews.

Besides his father, he was predeceased by his brother, Brian Reader.

John Paul was a loving husband to Alice, who he started dating 31 years ago, and got married on November 20th, 1999. He worked as a truck driver for his entire career. John Paul was known for being an animal lover, which was demonstrated by the pets he and Alice rescued together throughout their relationship.

In respect to the family’s wishes, no visitation or funeral service will be held at this time.
