Joseph C. LeBlanc, 82 of Bouctouche and formerly of Richiboucto passed away peacefully at the Dr Georges L. Dumont UHC, Moncton on Tuesday October 6, 2015. He was married to Thérèse (Arsenault) LeBlanc. Born in Harcourt, he was the son of the late Isaie and the late Suzanne (Maillet) LeBlanc.
He was a veteran of the Korean War, and a carpenter by trade.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Thérèse, his three children; Jeanne Clow (Bill) of Riverview, Diane LeBlanc (Arthur Goodwin) of Moncton and George (Annette) of Gardner, Mass, his seven grandchildren; Carri, Lisa, Kayla, Michael, Mike, Samantha, Tiffianie and four great grandchildren; Aidyn, Brandon, Gavyn and Noah. He also leaves to mourn two sisters, Maria Roy (Léo) of Fitchburg, Mass and Eliette Gaudet (Arcade) of Coal Branch and several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by two brothers; Alias and Antoine and one sister, Zénia.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Tuesday October 13, 2015 from 1 to 3:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 4:00 pm at the Saint-Jean Baptist Church in Bouctouche with the interment in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Rexton.
In Joseph’s memory donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche.
