Born in Cormier Village, he was the son of the late Maxime Gaudet and Philomène (Poirier) Gaudet.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Norma Gaudet; his daughter, Penny-Lee Cormier (Kevin Bourgoin); his two beloved grand-daughters, Josie Cormier (James Waite) and Britny Cormier; one brother, Romeo Gaudet (Alva); three sisters: Edna Gaudet, Rita Daigle (late Yvon Daigle) and Alma McGraw (late Roger McGraw)
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Gloria Gaudet; three brothers: Clarice Gaudet, Reginald Gaudet (Yvrette) and Anathole Gaudet (Jeannette).
As per his wishes, there will be no visitation and funeral service. In memory of Joseph, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
