Joseph “Joe” Gauvin

Shediac, NB – Joseph Gauvin, 90, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont university hospital centre on Tuesday, October 22, 2019.

Born in Grande-Digue, NB, he was the son of the late Henri and late Évéline (born Arsenault).

Joseph will be sadly missed by his loving partner, Simonne Léger of Shediac; three sons, Terrence Gauvin (Barbara) of Moncton, Daniel Gauvin (Rae) of Dieppe and Guérard Gauvin of Edmonton; two sisters, Gabrielle Stutchbury (late Roderick) of British Columbia and Rose-Marie MacLean of Moncton; seventeen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; also by several nieces, cousins and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Ronald and Henri Jr. and one sister, Jean.

Visitations will be held at Passage Funeral Co-operative in Shediac Bridge on Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 7pm to 9pm and on Friday, October 25, 2019 from 2pm until time of Funeral Service at 4pm at the Chapel.
