Moncton – Joseph “Joe” Meunier, 91, of Veterans Health Center, Moncton, passed away on Wednesday, June 1st, 2022, at his residence.
Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Zoel and the late Souverinne (Cormier) Meunier.
Prior to retirement, he spent some time in the military (Army) and also worked on pipelines. He was a proud veteran and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6, Moncton.
He is survived by his daughter, Charline (Terry) LeBlanc of Moncton; his son, BJ Shannon; his grandchildren: Meaghan, Melissa, Melanie, Yvette, Cheri, Tyler, Jessica, Miranda, Shannon and Shawn; his brothers: Omer Meunier (Nanoune) of Bathurst and Edouard Meunier “T-boy” (Robea) “Toutoune” of Dieppe, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Sandra (Robichaud); his son, Valmond; his siblings: Christine, Mary, Josephine, Clorice, Edgar, Orila “Chouki”, Leo, Emery and Ida.
As per Joe’s wishes, no visitation or funeral service will be held.
Interment will be held from Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB
