Moncton, NB – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joseph Omer Aimé Melanson on Tuesday, June 27th, 2023 at his residence.
Born in Haute Aboujagane, he was the son of the late Irené and the late Celestina Melanson (LeBlanc).
Joseph will be sadly missed by his brothers: Jean-Paul Melanson of Bathurst, Marc (Francine) Melanson of Montreal, and Léon (Isabelle) Melanson of Saint-Jacques; his sisters: Thérèse Monk of Wisconsin, Andréa Boudreau of Shediac, Jeanne (Albert) Caissie of Moncton, and Marie Gallant of Dieppe; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Louise; and his brothers: Laurie, Robert, Gerard, Camille, and Antoine.
There will be no visitation and no funeral service.
