Joseph Robert (Rob) Caissie, age 74, of Bouctouche, passed away after a sudden illness at the Stella-Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent on Tuesday April 17th, 2007. Born in Bouctouche on April 20th, 1932, he was the son of the late Edgar Caissie and the late Elizabeth (Née Cormier) Caissie.
Rob is survived by his two sisters; Edna Cormier (Siffroid), Dorilla Mills (Roger) both of Bouctouche, four brothers; Jean-Paul, Daniel (Bernadette), Hervé (Louisa), Gérald all of Bouctouche, and also by several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by two sisters; Marianne, Diana and two brothers Edouard, Raymond.
Visitations will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Thursday April 19th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Friday April 20th from 9 … 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday April 20th at the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the Bouctouche Cemetery in the spring.
