Joseph Roy, 82, of Moncton, passed away on Thursday, February 21st, 2008 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont, Moncton, NB.
Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Alfred and the late Irene (née: LeBlanc) Roy.
A WWII veteran, having served in the navy, Mr. Roy had retired from the Federal Department of Transportation.
He is survived by one daughter, Nicole Roy (Charles LeBlanc) of Dieppe; one son, Charles of Moncton; one sister, Evangeline of Moncton; two brothers: Clement (Jeannette) of Dieppe and Clarence (Margaret)of Moncton; one sister-in-law, Muriel of Moncton; his two grandchildren, the pride of his life: Zoé and Zacharie as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two sisters: Jeanne-Mance and Marguerite and also by one brother, Dr. Louis-François.
By request, no visitation or funeral service.
Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
