It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joseph LeBlanc, 72, on Tuesday, September 12th, 2023 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton.
Born in Shediac, he was the son of the late André and the late Juliette LeBlanc (Després).
Joseph will be sadly missed by his children: Justin (Kristen) LeBlanc of Grande-Digue, and Mathieu LeBlanc of Cocagne; the mother of his children, Ginette Cormier; his grandchildren: Connor, and Kamryn; his goddaughter, Annie Bourque, and her daughter, baby Juliette Bourque; his brothers: Henri (Sigrid) of Winnipeg, and Francis (Nicole) of Neguac; his sisters: Andréa (Bernard) Boone of Cape Breton, Marie (late Fernand) Boudreau of Shediac, Helene (Léo-Marie) Vienneau of Shediac, Rachel Cormier of Moncton, and Edith (Leonard) Warren of Shediac; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers: Antoine, and Camille; and his sisters: Juliette, Andréa, and Anna-Marie.
Joseph was a truck driver for 30 years, an avid wood worker who loved to tinker and work with his hands. A ‘jack of all trades, master of none’. He was Connor’s fixer, anything that would break, he would fix for him. He loved spending time with his grandbabies, Connor and Kamryn, great niece Juliette, and his boys, Justin and Matt.
Visitations will be held at Passage (3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge) on Thursday, September 21st, 2023 from 10:00am to 12:00pm and from 2:00pm until time of service. The funeral service will be held in the chapel at 4:00pm.
