Josephine died peacefully at the Foyer l’Assomption, Rogersville on Monday November 28, 2022 with her family by her side. She was a wonderfully loving and compassionate person who lived a complex, but full life. Everything she did was done with a loving and supportive heart. If she could help someone, she would; it is what she lived to do. She raised three children: Gary Arseneault (deceased), Giselle Holland (Gary), and Tim Arseneault (Marian). Her grand and great grandchildren were the lights of her life. There wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for Amelia Reid (Curt), Courtenay Gushie (Tyler), Blaney Saunders, Gabriel Holland and Wyatt Erickson (Kylie), her cherished great granddaughter; Ella as well as her extended family grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Out of 19 siblings, she is survived by Lillienne LaRocque (Gilbert), Louis Gallant (Maurine) and Therese Babin (Robert).
She was fortunate to find love three times in her lifetime (Tim Arseneault (deceased), Joe LeBlanc (deceased), and Roger Richard). Even though they were different in nature and intensity, her relationship with Roger was one of happiness, with a shared love of music, food and family.
Alzheimer’s is a terrible disease that robbed Josephine and her family of her caring heart, joyful spirit and a wonderful singing voice. A beautiful soul, she will be forever missed. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of NB and is requested in lieu of flowers.

Funeral arrangements are as follows: Visitations will be held at the Sainte-Anne-de-Kent Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room on Saturday December 3, 2022 from 9:00 am to 10:45 am followed by the funeral Mass at 11:00 am at the Sainte-Anne-de-Kent Church with interment in the parish cemetery.
