Born in St. Joseph du Moine, NS, she was the daughter of the late Gabriel and the late Suzanne Aucoin (nee Arsenault).

Julia will be sadly missed by her four daughters, Marie-Thérèse Aucoin of Townsend, Mass., Lucianne Prue of Pompano Beach, Florida, Sylvia Aucoin of Saint-Antoine, NB, Priscille Belliveau (Ernest) of Saint-Antoine, NB; by her 5 sons, Edgar Aucoin (Dora) of Petit Etang, NS, Roger Aucoin (Pauline) of Orange, Mass., Albert Aucoin of Marlborough, Mass., Yvon Aucoin (Janice) of Hudson, Mass., Lionel Aucoin (Linda) of Cheticamp; son-in-law; Paul Robichaud of Richibouctou; by her fifteen grandchildren and by her eighteen great-grandchildren; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Julia was predeceased by her husband Gérard Aucoin, by her daughter, Yvonne Robichaud; by her son, Lionel, by her two sisters, Anita Romard and Marie-Louise Harris; by her brother, Joseph.

Vitiation will be held at Saint-Antoine L’Ermite Slumber room in Saint-Antoine, NB on Sunday, December 20th, 2015 from 7:00pm till 9:00pm and on Monday, December 21st, 2015 from 9:00am till 10:15am. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Saint-Antoine L’Ermite RC Church in Saint-Antoine, NB on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 10:30am. Visitation will also take at Cheticamp Funeral Services Ltd, 15678 Cabot Trail, Cheticamp, NS on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 9:00am till 11:00am. Burial will take place at St. Joseph du Moine Cemetery.

Donations to the Foyer Saint-Antoine or to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
