Moncton, NB – Julia St. Amand, 76, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 7th, 2023, at the Albert House Hospice in Moncton.
Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Fidèle and the late Cécile Richard (Doiron).
Julia will be sadly missed by her partner, Gerald Léger; her two sons: Paul (Michele) St. Amand of Windsor, Connecticut, and Dean (Jennifer) St. Amand of Broad Brook, Connecticut; her four grandchildren: Andrew, Morgan (Christopher), Jessica, and Danielle; three great grandchildren: Aubree, Emmett, and Sloane; her brother, Alcide (Claudia) Richard of Dieppe; her three sisters: Florine (Raymond) Goguen, Francine (Robert) Wedge of Moncton, and Huguette Dufresne of Dieppe; her brother-in-law, Ronald Cormier of Dieppe; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 30 years, Renald St. Amand; two brothers: Ernest and France; and three sisters: Zita, Yolande, and Carmella.
Visitations will be held at Passage-Chartersville (363 Amirault Street, Dieppe) on Wednesday, January 11th, 2023, from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and again from 6:00pm until time of service.
Funeral service will be held in the chapel at 7:00pm.
Donations in Julia’s memory can be made to the Albert House Hospice in Moncton.

We always loved seeing Aunt Julia in NB or in Florida as once visited and having your mom stay with us many times when she visited us when we were in Brampton. She was always full of energy, living life to the fullest as possible and always on the go as you know. She always made us all feel very special and loved! She always spoke of you all including the grandchildren your Dad, Uncle Ron when we were together or talks on the phone as I would often call her and Aunt Carm several times a year just to chat. To Gerry and all Julia’s family. Our hearts are deeply saddened to read of Julia’s passing. She was a wonderful friend and made our winters in Florida extra special. Many gatherings were enjoyed at her home with wonderful hospitality, delicious food and lots of good music. She will be dearly missed.
