Juliette Léger, age 86, of Foyer Saint-Antoine and formally of Saint-Antoine, passed away after a lengthy illness on June 30th, 2007 at the Foyer Saint-Antoine. Married to the late Alban Léger (2005), she was born in Saint-Antoine on April 25th, 1921 to the late Irènée and Régina (née Breau) LeBlanc.
Juliette is survived by two daughters; Rose-May Melanson (Roger) of Saint-Antoine, Bernice Bastarache (Guy) of Bas Cap-Pelé, two sons; Roméo (Viola) of Saint-Antoine, Paul-Emile (Monette) of Moncton, eight sisters; Florence Paradis (Adelin), Imelda Jean (Jacques) both of Montreal, Lucie LeBlanc of Waltham, Mass., Alice Léger (Vital), Irène Nowlan (Jim), Jeannine LeBlanc (Ulysse) all of Moncton, Edmée Arsenault (Désiré), Edith Léger (Léon-Guy) both of Saint-Antoine, one brother; Gerard (Léona) of Moncton, six grand children, five great grand children, and several nephews and nieces.
Juliette was predeceased by 1 sister Lina and two brothers, Yvon, Eric.
Visitation will be held at the Saint-Antoine l’Ermite Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Saint-Antoine on Tuesday July 3rd, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, and Wednesday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday July 4th, at 11:00 am at the Saint-Antoine L’Ermite Church, Saint-Antoine. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
In Juliette’s memory, donations can be made to the Foyer Saint-Antoine, or the Alzheimer society.
