1934 - 2022

Important Update: Due to the current weather, visitations are rescheduled for tomorrow Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., followed by the Celebration of Life.

St-Thomas, NB – Juliette Maillet, 87, passed away peacefully at her residence at St-Thomas surrounded by her loving family on Friday, January 21st, 2022.  

Born in Grande-Digue, NB, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Richard, and the late Clarinda Richard.

Juliette will be sadly missed by her three sons, Daniel Maillet (Lisa) of Waltham, Mass, Steven Maillet (Nancy) of Billerica, MA and Robert (Bob) Maillet (Tania) of Moncton; two daughters, Annette Maillet (Jean-Paul) of Cocagne and Kathy Dubois of Oshawa ON; four brothers, Aimé Richard (Léona), Lucien Richard (Alice), Léonard Richard (Rita) and Alphonse Richard (Linda); two sisters, Géraldine Boudreau (late Norman) and Hélène Perry (late Billy); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Juliette was predeceased by her husband, Oswald Maillet, two sisters, Louise Bourque (surviving partner, Émile) and Jeannita Arsenault, as well as her little brother, Albert.

 Because of the nature of the current restrictions related to the Pandemic, proof of double vaccination, government issued ID and a mask will be mandatory and requested at the entrance of the Funeral Home. The visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel of Shediac Bridge on Saturday, February 5th, 2022 from 12pm until the time of the Celebration of her life at the Chapel at 4pm.

  9. Our sincerest sympathy for your loss. Juliette was one in a million and we will always cherish the memories. She was a great friend to Mrs. Casey and we loved it when aunt Julie popped in while we were there…telling us of the long list of things she had going on in the kitchen back home. She loved her kids and was always ready to talk about them.
