Karl James Hanley

Moncton, NB – Karl James Hanley, 84, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, April 18, 2017.

Born in Nelson, NB, he was the son of the late Guy and Gertrude (Robichaud) Hanley.

Karl will be sadly missed by his close friend and companion, Joan Fearon; his three sons, James (Sharon) of Rothesay, Laurie (Debbie) and Bruce (Claudine) both of Moncton; his three daughters, Brenda Collins (Paul) of Miramichi, Kathy O’Neill (Mike) and Karen Hanley both of Rothesay; his brother, Roy (Dorothy) of Miramichi; his four sisters, Donna Galer (Russ) of Ontario, Angela Moser (late Don) of Truro, NS, Cora Forczig (John) of Ontario, Caroline Casey (Edmond) of Miramichi; also by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his former wife, Verna Hanley; three brothers, Bill,
Ken and Frank; three sisters, Evelyn Dickson, Yvonne Malone and Vera Waye.

As per request, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service will be celebrated at Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road (corner West Lane), Moncton on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 11 am. Reception will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer Society, SPCA or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
