It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kaytlyn Hemsworth, on Tuesday the 11th of April, 2023 at 2:45 pm at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center.

Born in Moncton, New Brunswick on February 27th, 2004, she was the daughter of Sarah Hemsworth (Dave) and Stephen Collette (Angie); siblings: Kali, Kayden, Kaleb, Kolton, Khloe and William (Colette); maternal grandparents: Sylvia Hemsworth and Darrell Hoare; paternal grandparents, Mary Collette (late William Collette), several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and great grandmother, Sylvia Fahie.

She liked to draw, cook and expressed her creativity any chance she could. She was outgoing, passionate and loved to dance with heart.

She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, William Collette (Billy) and by her great grandparents: Charles Fahie, Merle and George Smith and Dora and Gerry Garland.

Visitation will be held from Passage-Chartersville, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (506) 857-1901, on Saturday, April 29th, 2023 from noon to 12:45 pm, followed by a Celebration of Kaytlyn’s life in the chapel at 1 pm.

  3. God has his reasons for bring him home to his arms. We are not to question his whys, but we left behind are in grief. My condolences to her family, her friends (like my niece Laura) to her adopted parents (Tim and Bonnie Stafford) to her school mates.
