Cocagne, NB – Laudia Bourque, 82, passed away suddenly at her residence on Thursday, May 2, 2013.
Born in Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, NB on March 1, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Arsène and Émilienne (Cormier) Bastarache.
Laudia will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Claudette Williams (Gary) of Moncton and Ginette Bourque of Grande-Digue; her two sons, Jean-Guy (Barbara) of Dieppe and Daniel of Cocagne; her three sisters, Elmire Maillet (Laurie) of Dieppe, Rita LeBlanc (Alban) of Shediac, Andréa Robichaud (late Alfred) of St-Antoine; her five brothers, Laurier (late Stella) of Bellingham, Mass, Ulysse (Sue) of St-Maurice, Sylvio (Andréa), Régis (Irène) both of Bouctouche, Raoul (Marie) of Chéticamps, NS; her three grandchildren, Chantal, Stéphanie, Rebecca; her great granddaughter, Alexa; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Willie; her daughter, Adèla; her four sons, Arsène, Fernand, Ulysse and Valmond; four brothers, Noël, Prémélite, Aldéi and Lorenzo; one infant bother, Maxime; three infant sisters and one special cousin, Gérard Savoie.
Visitations will be held at the St. Pierre de Cocagne slumber room on Sunday, May 5, 2013 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Monday, May 6, 2013 from 1 pm until time of the funeral. Funeral service will be at the St. Pierre de Cocagne RC Church on Monday, May 6, 2013 at 2 pm. Reception to follow at the Club d’Âge d’Or in Cocagne.
