Moncton, NB—It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Laura Vautour, 88, that occurred on Thursday, March 20th, 2025, at the Moncton Albert Hospice House.
Born in Shediac, she was the daughter of the late Georges Vautour and the late Alice (Leger) Vautour.
She will be sadly missed by her son, Daniel Bastarache (Janet) of Moncton; her granddaughter, Jaime; her three great grandchildren: Emilie, Oliver, and Mathias; her brother, Pat Vautour (Jeannette) of Barachois; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her siblings: Lina, Elizabeth, Evangeline, Alma, Rita, Laura (infant), Emile, Philippe, Alphonse, Euclide, and Edgar.
Visitation will be held from Passage-Moncton Funeral Cooperative, 625 Mountain Road, Moncton, NB, E1C 2P1, 506-855-1145, on Tuesday, March 25th, from 10 to 11 am only, followed by the funeral service at 11 am at the same location.
