In Loving Memory Of
Lauria Melanson
1950-2022

Cocagne, N.-B. – Lauria Melanson, 72, passed away on Friday December 23, 2022, at her residence.

Born on August 21, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Laurie Melanson and the late Bernice (Girouard) Melanson.

Lauria will be sadly missed by her partner: Normand LeBlanc of Cocagne; her two sons: Daniell Robichaud of Waltham, MA, and Denny Robichaud (Michele) of Saint-Joseph; her daughter: Angele Robichaud (Remi Bourque) of Grande-Digue; her stepchildren: Daniel LeBlanc (Crystal Steane) of Saint-Antoine and Carole LeBlanc (Jason Arsenault) that she loved like her own children; her four grandchildren: Justin, Eric, Jacob, and Annabelle; and by her stepsister: Ginette Léger (Serge Clavet). She will also be missed by several aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. 

Beside her parents, she was predeceased by her stepmother: Aline Melanson two brothers: Reginald and Wayne; by her sister: Lisa and by her two stepbrothers: Claude and Bernard.

Visitation will be held at the Saint-Pierre-de-Cocagne Roman Catholic Church slumber room on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, from 2pm to 3:30pm followed by the funeral mass at 3:30pm. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery in the spring.

In memory of Lauria, a donation can be made to either the House of Nazareth or to the Breast Cancer Foundation.

  3. We are SO sad and sorry to learn about Lauria’s passing. Lauria and I worked together at Raymond’s Waltham many years ago, we became good friends, our children became great friends, visiting NB in summers. Lauria was a true gem.
