Shediac, NB – Laurie Boudreau, 86, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, August 27th, 2015, after a brief illness.
Born in Shediac, NB, he was the son of the late Edgar and Regina (Goguen) Boudreau.
Laurie will be sadly missed by his wife, Sarah (Gallant) Boudreau; his two sons, Larry (Carla) and Russell (Nicole) both of Grand-Barachois; his two daughters, Monique Boudreau (Florian) of Aylmer QC and Julie Gallant (Paul) of Grand-Barachois; his four sisters, Sister Lina Boudreau, Florence Goguen (late Raymond) both of Moncton, Doris LeBlanc (late Doland) and Dolorèse Swartzack (Ed) both of Ottawa, ON; his step-brother, Armand Boucher (late Claira) of Ottawa, ON; his two step-sisters, Noëlla Boudreau (late Adrien) and Gladys Boudreau (late Joe) both of Moncton; his five grandchildren, Jennifer, Amanda, Chanel, Kris and Zachary; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Claira and Adrienne; two brothers, Adrien and Joe; one early age infant sister, Émelie.
As per Laurie’s request there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A private funeral service for family only will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel, 3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Children’s Wish Foundation or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
