Laurie Maillet, 65 of Sainte-Anne de Kent, passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday December 28th, 2013. Born in Sainte-Anne de Kent, he was the son of the late Gerard and the late Rita (Arseneault) Maillet.
He will be sadly missed by his six siblings; Bernice Daigle of Fredericton, Carmen Richard (Normand) of Ayer, MA, Marielle Bouchard (Normand) of Dieppe, Cécile Scott (Richard) of Edmonton, Aline Arsenault (Donald) and Guy (Bernice) of Moncton, and several nephews and nieces. He also leaves to mourn one sister-in-law Claudette Maillet and one brother-in-law Gilles Godbout.
He was predeceased by one sister Ginette and one brother Omer.
Visitation will be held at the Sainte-Anne de Kent Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room on Saturday January 4th, 2014 from 9 to 11:15 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Sainte-Anne de Kent Church on Saturday at 11:30 am with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
In Laurie’s memory donations may be made to the Sainte-Anne de Kent Cemetery Fund.
