It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lawrence J. Watson, 71, on Wednesday, April 30th, 2025, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton.
Born in Pointe-du-Chene, he was the son of the late Daisy Watson.
Lawrence will be sadly missed by his loving partner, Denise McLaughlin; his son, Christopher Watson (Kayla) of Bathurst; his stepdaughter, Sonya McLaughlin (Mike) of Toronto; his grandchildren: Duncan and Austin; his brothers: Kenny Watson of Moncton, John Watson of Bathurst, and Peter Watson of Moncton; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his mother, Lawrence was also predeceased by his maternal grandparents.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Jeanne, Brenda, and John for being there throughout, to Dr. Rheal Boudreau and Dr. Thais Megid and staff of the Palliative Care Unit of the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre for the excellent care provided to him and to our great neighbours, Norm and Derek Arsenault a special thank you.
In respect to Lawrence’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service.
