Lawrence (Larry) Lemieux, 92, of Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home, formerly of Dieppe, passed away on Sunday, February 14th 2010, at his residence.

Born in Campbellton, NB, he was the son of the late Jean and the late Marie Louise (née: Boudreau) Lemieux.

Mr. Lemieux was a business man, retiring as owner/operator of Kay’s Grocery in Lakeburn. He was formerly a member of the Beausejour Curling Club, Rail City Barbershop Chorus, Club d’Age d’Or de Dieppe and of Sainte-Thérèse and Notre-Dame de l’Assomption parishes.

He is survived by two daughters: Gisèle (Marc)Bernard of Dieppe and Rachelle Waltz (Richard Wolthers) of Riverview; three sisters: Alma Dolderer and Rita Giancone, both of Montreal, QC and Marie Marquis of Ocala, FL; two grandchildren: Caroline and Patrick, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by his wife, Yvette in 1991, five sisters: Irene, Florine, Theresa, Mildred and Evelyn as well as by four brothers: Venner, Elmer, Raymond and an infant brother.

No visitation at his request.

Funeral mass will be celebrated from Ste-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB on Wednesday, February 17th 2010, at 10: 30 am.

Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (857-1901).

À sa résidence, le dimanche 14 février 2010 à l’âge de 92 ans, est décédé Lawrence (Larry) Lemieux, domicilié au Foyer Kenneth E. Spencer autrefois de Dieppe, N.-B.

Né à Campbellton, N.-B., il était fils de feu Jean et de feu Marie Louise (née: Boudreau) Lemieux.

M. Lemieux était un homme affaire, propriétaire de Épicerie Kay de Lakeburn. Il était membre du Beauséjour Curling Club, Rail City Barbershop Chorus, Club d’Age d’Or de Dieppe, des paroisses Sainte-Thérèse et Notre-Dame de l’Assomption.

Il laisse dans le deuil deux filles: Gisèle (Marc)Bernard de Dieppe et Rachelle Waltz (Richard Wolthers) de Riverview; trois soeurs: Alma Dolderer et Rita Giancone, toutes deux de Montréal, QC et Marie Marquis d’Ocala, FL; deux petits-enfants: Caroline and Patrick, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.

Son épouse, Yvette en 1991, cinq soeurs: Irene, Florine, Theresa, Mildred et Evelyn ainsi que quatre frères: Venner, Elmer, Raymond et un bébé l’ont précédé dans la tombe.

À sa demande, aucune visite.

Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Sainte-Thérèse, Dieppe, N.-B., le mercredi 17 février 2010, à 10h 30.
