Lena Richard, 96, of Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Dieppe, passed away on Wednesday, September 6th, 2006 at her residence.
Born in Bouctouche, NB, she was the daughter of the late Amedée and the late Sylvie (née: Allain) Landry.
Mrs. Richard is survived by one son, Bruce (Aileen) LeBlanc of Honolulu, Hawaii; one step daughter, Norma of Mass.; one step daughter-in-law, Marion; five step-grandchildren: Ted, Joey, Gail, Sharon and Darlene; two step-great grandchildren as well as by several nieces and nephews.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, she was predeceased by her 1st husband, Adelin LeBlanc in 1965, her 2nd husband, Joseph Richard in 1977; one step- son, Joe; three sisters: Marie, Anita and Evangeline and also by five brothers: Neri, Fred, Donat, Eric and Francois.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Sunday, September 10th, 2006 from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm and also on Monday from 10 am until time of departure.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, on Monday, September 11th, 2006 at 11 am.
Interment in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe, NB
