Shediac, NB – Léo Arsenault, 83, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, on Thursday, January 23rd, 2020.
Born in Cap-de-Cocagne, he was the son of the late Emerie and the late Léa Arsenault (born Hébert).
Léo will be dearly missed by his very special friend, Doris Fougère, of Shediac; two sons, Richard Arsenault of Grand-Barachois and Danny Arsenault (Charline) of Moncton; one daughter, Suzanne Arsenault of Shediac; one step-son, Normand Belliveau (Raymonde) of Toronto; four step-daughters, Joanne Duguay (Michael) of Shediac, Murielle Brun (Raymond) of Grand-Barachois, Denise Fougère (Maurice) and Joanne Fougère (Mike) both of Shediac; two brothers, Roger Arsenault (Alma) of Dieppe and Adrien Arsenault (Denise) of Cocagne; by five sisters, Thérèse Breau (late Desire) of Grande-Digue, Célia Boudreau (late Allain) of Dieppe, Lilianne Poirier (late Camille), Hélène Arsenault (Rose), both of Shediac and Angela Richard (Victor) of Moncton; eleven grandchildren, Paul, Renée, Raymond, Jason, Shanon, Dylan, Megan, Tyler, Melissa, Mélanie and Bradley; also by several great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Yolande Léger; and by one grandson, Marc.
Visitation will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Monday, January 27th, 2020, from 2pm until time of the Celebration of his life at the Chapel at 4pm.
