Léo Charette, 71, of Dieppe, passed away on Friday, October 15th, 2010, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital.
Born in Val d’Amour, NB, he was the son of the late John and the late Pamela (née: Ouellette) Charette.
He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Landry (née: Robichaud); two daughters: Diane Charette (Roch Matte) of Montreal, QC and Chantal (Charles) Landry of Scoudouc; one son, Richard and four grandchildren: Emilie, Ashley, Jonathan and Cathy.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by four brothers: Omer, Joseph, Ernest and Roland.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm and from the Savoie Funeral Home, 47 Alexander Street, Campbellton, NB on Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm.
Funeral mass will be celebrated from Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur Roman Catholic Church, Val d’Amour, NB on Thursday, October 21st, 2010 at 11 am.
Interment in parish cemetery, Val d’Amour, NB.

À l’Hôpital Dr Georges-L.-Dumont de Moncton, le vendredi 15 octobre, 2010 à l’âge de 71 ans, est décédé Léo Charette. Il demeurait à Dieppe, N.-B.
Né à Val d’Amour, QC., il était fils de feu John et de feu Pamela
(née: Ouellette) Charette.
Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse, Jacqueline Landry (née: Robichaud); deux filles: Diane Charette (Roch Matte) de Montreal, QC et Chantal (Charles) Landry de Scoudouc; un fils, Richard ainsi que quatre petits-enfants: Emilie, Ashley, Jonathan et Cathy.
Outre ses parents, quatre frères: Omer, Joseph, Ernest et Roland l’ont précédé dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, N.-B., (857-1901) le mardi de 19h à 21h et au Salon funéraire Savoie, 47 rue Alexander, Campbellton, N.-B. le mercredi de 19h à 21h.
Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur, Val d’Amour, N.-B., le jeudi 21 octobre, 2010 à 11h.
L’inhumation se fera au cimetière paroissial, Val d’Amour, N.-B.
Un don à la fondation Dr Georges-L.-Dumont serait apprecié par la famille.
