Moncton, NB – Léo Gallant, 74, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital, on Monday, January 4, 2021, after a short illness.

Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Jean-Pierre and late Blanche Galllant (nee LeBlanc).

Léo will be sadly missed by his by his children, Joey, Kim, Susan Tait and Elaine all of Moncton; his siblings, Pat Murphy (Mike) of Shediac, Jeannette Gallant, Louise Cormier, Gisèle Brun (Louis) all of Moncton, Jean-Guy of Dieppe, Stella Gallant (Donald) of Summerside, PE and Thérèse Savoie (Martin) of Moncton; his brother-in-law, Harold “Buddy” of Shediac River; his special friend, Jeannette McKeigan of Memramcook; his 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; also by several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Claudette Tingley.

In respect to Léo’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. A graveside service will be held at a later date in spring.
