Shediac, NB – Léo-Paul Cormier, 72, passed away peacefully at his residence in Shediac, NB on Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021.
Born in Parkton, NB, he was the son of the late Aurèle Cormier, and the late Alma Cormier born LeBlanc.
Léo-Paul will be sadly missed by his loving partner, Jacinthe Caissie of Shediac; his three sons, Paul Cormier (Nicole Jonah) of Moncton, Matthiew Vienneau (France Daigle) of Ste-Anne-de-Kent and Michael Vienneau (Brittanie Gallant) of Prince Edouard Island; two daughters, Cindy Lane (Robert) and Lee-Ann Vienneau (Mark Mcnair) both of Moncton; two brothers, Roger Cormier (Karen) of Ontario and Robert Cormier (Carol Ives) of Grand-Barachois; eight
sisters, Freda Hébert (Théophil) of Moncton, Diane Clements (Rene), Lucille Hébert (late Claude) both of Shediac, Joanne Cormier (Norm), Linda Shaffer (Albert) both of Moncton, Angela Cormier (Mike) of Irishtown, Janice Thebeau (Ron) of St-Philippe and
Debbie Leblanc (Ken) of Moncton; one stepdaughter, Sally Healy of Alberta; five grandchildren, Meghan, Brennen, Jayden, Sophie and Simon; two step-grandchildren, Daniel and Dominic; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Léo-Paul was predeceased by two brothers, Gerald and Robert as well as
two sisters, Thérèse and Alma.
Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel of Shediac Bridge on Saturday, December 4th, 2021 from 10 am until the time of the Celebration of his life at the Chapel at 11 am. Due to the restrictions related to the current pandemic, double vaccination and wearing a mask will be mandatory and required at the entrance of the funeral home.
