Scoudouc, NB – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Léo-Paul LeBlanc with his family by his side, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at the age of 82.
Born in Cocagne, NB, he was the son of the late Alyre and the late Eva LeBlanc (Saulnier).
Léo-Paul will be sadly missed by his wife of 54 years: Stella LeBlanc (Cormier); his children: Ricky LeBlanc (Michelle) of Scoudouc and Sharon Richard (Nicholas) of Moncton; his sister: Marie-Thérère Surette (Donald) of Moncton; his brothers: Léandre Leger (Diane), Jean-Valmond LeBlanc (Phyllis) both of Moncton and Eugene Richard (Bernice) of Richibouctou-Village; his grandchildren: Jamie (Liz), Joshua (Carrie), Ryan (Jolene), Dawson (Chloé) and Reid; his two great grandchildren: Damon and Macy; his aunt and also several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers: Alyre and Léon-Guy.
Léo-Paul was a drywaller before his retirement. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed spending time at his camp with family and friend.
As per Léo-Paul’s wishes, there will be a gathering for family and friends on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at Passage, 3754 route 134, Shediac Bridge, NB from 6pm to 8pm. There will be no funeral service following the visitation. Burial will take place at Notre-Dame-de-Kent RC Cemetery the next day.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in his memory to a charity of your choice.

So sorry to hear the passing of your father and husband we give our condolences to the family. He was a great man he loved to hunt and tell me stories at the camp when I first met him so nice to hear them of the great hunts he had.
