In Loving Memory Of
Léona LeBlanc
1940 - 2025

Saint-Antoine, N.B. – It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of Léona LeBlanc, on September 10, 2025, at the Foyer Saint-Antoine.

Born in Grande-Digue, N.B., on January 31, 1940, she was the beloved wife of Ovile LeBlanc and the daughter of the late Léandre Brun and the late Laura (LeBlanc) Brun.

Léona loved spending time outdoors working on her landscaping. She also enjoyed painting both the inside and outside of her home.

She will be sadly missed by her husband Ovile; her two daughters: Odette LeBlanc and Diane LeBlanc, both of Cocagne; her sisters: Stella (Jean-Paul) LeBlanc of Bouctouche and Jeannita (Gérard) Cormier of Cap-Pelé, her brothers: Gérard (Rachelle) Brun of Grande-Digue and Edmond (Jovette) Brun of Gardner, MA. She will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Joline Vibert, Gabriel Allain, Ricky LeBlanc, Sébastien LeBlanc, and Stéphanie LeBlanc; her great-grandchildren: Jordan Vibert, Nicco LeBlanc, and Makayla LeBlanc; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Léona was predeceased by her son, Roland (1988); her sisters: Viola (2012) and Irène (2017); and her brothers, Valmond (1993), Emery (2001), Léonard (2012), and Normand (2022).

Donations in memory of Léona may be made to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick.

Visitation will be held at Saint-Pierre R.C. Church, 2000 Route 535, Cocagne, N.B., on Monday, September 15, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m., followed by the funeral mass at 4:00 p.m. at the same church.
