Shediac – Leonard Norman Matthews of Villa Providence in Shediac, previously of Turtle Creek and Grand Barachois, passed away on March 31, 2022.
Leonard was born in Anagance NB and was predeceased by his longtime partner Stella Leblanc, his parents, Leslie Matthews and Hazel Stockton, also his brother Curtis (late Pat), his sister Lois (Gilbert), a sister Joyce, who died as a young child, as well as the spouses of several surviving siblings. He is survived by the following siblings and their descendants: Margaret Kaulback, Doreen Carter, Katherine Matthews, Leslie Matthews – all of Riverview NB – and Richard Matthews (Millie) of Danvers, Massachusetts.
Leonard chose not to have a funeral or visitations.

Uncle Leonard was a kind and gentle man and he will be missed greatly. I have many memories of him from the last sixty plus years.
