LESLIE MAZEROLLE

Leslie Mazerolle, 94, of Auberge du Soleil, Dieppe and formerly of Moncton, passed away on Wednesday, April 17th, 2019 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton.

Born in Jacquet River, NB, he was the son of the late Joseph and the late Kathryn (née: Martin) Mazerolle.

Prior to retirement, Mr. Mazerolle was a crane operator with CN. He was a member of Holy Family parish in Moncton.   

He is survived by one daughter, Nancy (Mike) LeBlanc of Dieppe; one son, Vernon "Jake" (Lori) of Vancouver, BC; four grandchildren: Melissa, Julie, Zachary and Alexandra; two great grandchildren: Samara and Aria, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Orilla in 2010 and also by his siblings: George, Gordon, Everett, Leonard, Drucella, Margaret, Wallace and Irene.

Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe (857-1901), on Saturday, May 11th, 2019 from 9 am until time of service.

A celebration of the word will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Saturday, May 11th, 2019 at 11 am, with Father Phil Mulligan officiating.

Interment in Saint-Pierre Parish Cemetery, Cocagne.

Donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Au centre hospitalier universitaire Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont, le mercredi 17 avril 2019, à l’âge de 94 ans, est décédé Leslie Mazerolle. Il demeurait à l’Auberge du Soleil à Dieppe et autrefois de Moncton au Nouveau-Brunswick.
Né à Jacquet River, N.-B., il était fils de feu Joseph et de feu Kathryn (née Martin) Mazerolle.

Avant sa retraite, M Mazerolle travaillait au CN. Il était membre de la paroisse Holy Family à Moncton.

Il laisse dans le deuil une fille, Nancy (Mike) LeBlanc de Dieppe; un fils, Vernon “Jake” (Lori) de Vancouver, C.-B.; quatre petits-enfants: Melissa, Julie, Zachary et Alexandra; deux arrière-petits-enfants: Samara et Aria, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.

Son épouse, Orilla en 2010 ainsi que ses frères et soeurs: George, Gordon, Everett, Leonard, Drucella, Margaret, Wallace et Irene l’ont précédé dans la tombe.  

Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe (857-1901), le samedi 11 mai 2019 de 9h jusqu’à l’heure des funérailles.
Une célébration de la parole aura lieu en la chapelle de la Maison funéraire Chartersville, le samedi 11 mai 2019 à 11h.

Inhumation au cimetière paroissial Saint-Pierre, Cocagne.
Un don à la Fondation du Rein serait apprécié par la famille.
