Lina LeBlanc-Badman
1942 ~ 2024

Moncton, NB – Lina LeBlanc-Badman passed away at the Moncton Hospital on February 13th, 2024, after a long battle with dementia.

She was born in Caissie Cape on April 21st, 1942, and was the daughter of the late Hector LeBlanc and the late Alma (Donelle) LeBlanc.

Lina was predeceased by her brother, Alderice (Louise), her sisters: Florence (Albert), and Marie Ann (Alan) all of Moncton; as well as her grandson, David of Labrador.

Lina will be sadly missed but not forgotten by her husband, Martin of Moncton; her sons: Daniel (Viola) of Labrador, Jean-Guy (Rachel) of Moncton, Michel (Ana), and Denis (Roberta) both of Caissie Cape; her step daughter, Renee-Claude (Peter) of Dieppe; her grandchildren: Mark, Nathaniel, Justin, Emma, Sarah, Crystal, Matthew and Jai-Lynn; her great grandchildren: Jax, Willow, Nevaeh, Livia, Lainey, Jolene, Julia, Jacey, and Jasmine; her brother, Clarence LeBlanc of Boston; her sister-in-law, Carol; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Lina’s passions were tending her garden at the home in Moncton, and at the cottage in Caissie Cape, reading and talking to family and friends on the phone for hours at a time, she also loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from Passage Funeral Cooperative, 3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge, NB, E4R 1T1, 506-532-1050, on Friday, February 16th from 7 to 9 pm, and on Saturday, February 17th, from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Funeral mass will be held at the La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue, on Saturday, February 17th at 11 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery at a later date.

The family would also like to thank all the staff at the Moncton Hospital for making Lina’s final days as comfortable as possible.

The family would also like to request in lieu of flowers that a donation be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.

  4. Lina and I have been dear friends for close to 40 years and I am deeply sad to hear of her passing but take peace in the fact that she is now with her Heavenly Father a family . She was always so happy and that beautiful smile of hers even though in times her life was not easy. So happy that she had such a wonderful man as Martin in her life. Martin snd Lena visited with us a few years ago in Cape Breton, we all had such a wonderful time together.
