Lina Leger, 88, formerly of Manoir Notre-Dame in Moncton, passed away on Monday, September 10th, 2012, at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Bouctouche, NB, she was the daughter of the late Tim and the late Marie (née: Melanson) Belliveau.
She is survived by three sons, Ron Leger, Bob Leger (Pauline), Herb Leger (Lucille) and three daughters, Rose Kay (Allen), Theresa Leger and Doreen Matthews; ten grandchildren: Billy, Nadine, Nicole, Justin, Josh, Curtis, Corey, Jeff, Jenna and Glen; five great grandchildren: Brandon, Ben, Devon, Jake and Neve; brothers, Albert Belliveau (Dorilla) and Gérard Belliveau (Alice); sisters Régina Roy (late Ulysse), Léola Robichaud (Arice) and adopted sister Jeannette Nowlan (Ron); as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sisters: Alvina, Odila, Anastase, Monique, Doris and Jeannette as well as her brothers: Honoré, Gérald, Alcide and Enselme.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901), on Friday, September 14th, 2012 from 9 am until time of service, which will be celebrated from the Chapel at 10 am.
Interment at the Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium, Dieppe, NB.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Elle laisse dans le deuil trois fils: Ron Leger, Bob Leger (Pauline), Herb Leger (Lucille); trois filles, Rose Kay (Allen), Theresa Leger et Doreen Matthews; dix petits-enfants: Billy, Nadine, Nicole, Justin, Josh, Curtis, Corey, Jeff, Jenna et Glen; cinq arrières-petits-enfants: Brandon, Ben, Devon, Jake et Neve; deux frères, Albert Belliveau (Dorilla) et Gérard Belliveau (Alice); trois sœurs: Régina Roy (feu Ulysse), Léola Robichaud (Arice) et sa sœur adoptée Jeannette Nowlan (Ron) ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Six soeurs: Alvina, Odila, Anastase, Monique, Doris et Jeannette ainsi que quatre frères: Honoré, Gérald, Alcide et Enselme, l’ont précédée dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, N.-B. (857-1901), le vendredi 14 septembre 2012, à 9h jusqu’à l’heure des funérailles qui auront lieu en la chapelle à 10h.
L’inhumation se fera au colombaire de la Maison funéraire Chartersville, Dieppe, N.-B.
Un don à la Société canadienne du cancer serait apprécié par la famille.
