Linda Donovan, 66, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Saturday, November 14th, 2015, at the Moncton Hospital, Moncton, NB.

Born in Blackville, NB, she was the daughter of Edna (née: Hallihan) and the late Urban McEvoy.

Linda had worked at the cafeteria of the Moncton Hospital and was a member of Our Lady of Loretto parish, Dieppe, NB.

Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband, Eldon; one daughter, Edna Mae Donovan (Dodd St. Croix) of Moncton; one sister, Donna McEvoy of Moncton; one brother, Dale (Penny) McEvoy of Renous; two grandchildren: Connor and Liam, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her father, she was predeceased by two brothers: Urban Jr. and Terry.

Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Monday from 7 to 9 pm and also at the Father Murdoch Memorial Room, St. Bridget’s Roman Catholic Church, Renous on Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Bridget’s Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 18th, 2015 at 11 am with Monsignor Joseph Woods officiating. Burial will follow in St. Bridget’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery.

Donations to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
