NOTICE DUE TO THE WEATHER THE VISITATIONS AND FUNERAL WILL BE FRIDAY JANUARY 12 AT THW SAME TIMES.Lionel Hébert, 92, of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, on Friday January 5, 2024. He was married to Elizabeth (Allain) Hébert. Born in Bouctouche he was the son of the late Fidèle and the late Marie-Anne (Cormier) Hébert.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Elizabeth, his three children; Diana Saulnier (Laurie) of Saint-Maurice, Laurie (Doris) and Raymond (Pauline) of Bouctouche, his seven grandchildren; Normand, Tina, Marcel, Jessica, Mathieu, Julie, Serge and several great grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn his three sisters; Bernice LeBlanc of Shediac, Maria Hébert of Moncton, Henriette Pellerin of Saint-Antoine, his three brothers; Ronald (Cécile) of Moncton, Léo-Paul (Yvonne) and Normand (Doris) of Shediac as well as several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by five sisters; Margerite, Ida, Mariella, Pauline, Stella and two brothers; Edouard and Aldéric as well as his step-mother Sara (LeBlanc) Hébert.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Wednesday January 10, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 3:45 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Wednesday January 10, 2024 at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
In Lionel’s memory, donations may be made to the family.
