Léo-Paul Allain, 55, of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent on Saturday August 5, 2017. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Alban and the late Hélène (Bastarache) Allain.
He will be sadly missed by his common-law wife, Janice Vienneau, his four sons; Ricky of Saint-Pierre, René, Jason and Donald of Bouctouche. He also leaves to mourn his five sisters; Elizabeth «Lezzie» Hébert (Lionel «Nel»), Noella Nowlan (Léo-Paul), Léa Gallant (Adrien), Gloria Allain of Bouctouche and Thérèse Léger (Fernand) of Cap-Pelé, two brothers; Emery and Yvon «Mada» of Bouctouche as well as several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by two brothers; Roger and Donald.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Thursday August 10, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Church, Bouctouche on Thursday August 10, 2017 at 7:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery.
In memory of Léo-Paul, donations may be made to the family.
